The Next Act: There are some stories that don’t end when the cameras stop rolling.
They stay with you.In the quiet.In the conversations afterward.In the moments where you realize how many people have been carrying things they were never meant to carry alone.
Over the last several months, I’ve listened to stories that changed me. Stories about survival, silence, fear, resilience, and the invisible weight people continue to hold long after the moment itself has passed.
What’s coming next is not about headlines or shock value. It’s about understanding. About giving space to voices that are too often dismissed, doubted, or unheard. And about asking all of us to look a little closer at the things we tend to avoid because they make us uncomfortable.
I believe storytelling can do more than entertain.I believe it can challenge us.Move us.Wake us up.And maybe even help protect people moving forward.
This next chapter is deeply personal.And I can’t wait for people to see what we’ve been building.
Wrapping our final shoot today as the founder of Next Generation Storytellers… and I couldn’t be more proud.
What these ODU students brought to set was nothing short of incredible focus, passion, creativity, and a level of professionalism that honestly felt beyond their years. You can teach technique, but you can’t teach heart… and they showed up with all of it.
This is exactly why NGS exists, to give the next wave of storytellers a real platform, real experience, and a real shot. Today was proof that the future of filmmaking is in very good hands.
Grateful for every moment, every frame, and every one of you who made it count.
