Palmetto Goodwill’s Fiber Optics Installation Training program is designed to prepare participants for entry-level careers in data cable installation, construction, and electrical industries.
In just 5 weeks, participants can:
✔ Earn $16/hour during training
✔ Gain hands-on fiber optic experience
✔ Earn certifications in OSHA 10, CPR, First Aid, and Forklift Operation
✔ Obtain industry-recognized credentials, including BICSI Installer I
✔ Connect with local employers hiring entry-level talent
✔ Receive career coaching and resume support

Congratulations to the Palmetto Excel Class of 2026! 🎓💙
On June 23, we celebrated 33 graduates who reached an incredible milestone by earning their high school diploma through Palmetto Excel. Surrounded by more than 350 family members, friends, and supporters, the ceremony was a celebration of perseverance, determination, and new beginnings.
A special thank you to The Honorable Reginald Burgess, Mayor of North Charleston, for serving as our guest speaker and helping make this day even more meaningful.
