I decided to make my first body scrub! A lavender coconut sugar body scrub! 🪻🥥💆🏻‍♀️💕 Made with organic lavender flowers for extra aroma and lavender essential oil from , it is vegan, all natural, and cruelty free! As a holistic practitioner, I skipped the food coloring and mixed açaí and butterfly pea flower to achieve a natural purple hue.

Benefits:
Relaxation: lavender, known for its relaxing effects, will calm your nervous system, leaving you feeling relaxed and Zen. Lavender also has antibacterial and antifungal benefits for the skin.

Exfoliation: The sugar will exfoliate dead skin cells promoting cell turnover, improving your skin texture, and brightening your complexion.

Antioxidents: Açaí, (the small, purple fruit native to Brazil), contains high levels of antioxidants and vitamins A, C, and E, which help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals and environmental stressors.

The powerful antioxidants and chemical compounds found in butterfly pea flowers brighten skin, boost collagen production, and keep your skin hydrated and plump!

Moisturizing: The coconut oil helps to hydrate your skin and reinforces its natural defensive barrier to better retain moisture. It is also antimicrobial and anti inflammatory, as well as helping to increase the natural production of collagen, this helps to improve skin elasticity for firmer skin.

Is there anything that brings on more joy than the moment when the world begins to wake up from its cold slumber! After months of dormancy, trees come back to life in the Spring, flowers emerge from the ground, and animals wake up from hibernation. 🍃

The transition from Winter to Spring is the perfect time to cleanse, throw away, or give away anything unwanted in your living space. Spring is the perfect reset, for not only looking at spaces you may have neglected in your home, but also in your life.
What chapter do you keep re-telling, what thing or person do you need to send Love to and let go of?

Considered a time for new beginnings and a time to plant new seeds, now is the ideal time to think, “What energy do I need to purge from my life?” Use this shift of the seasons as a catalyst for getting rid of the old energy and ushering in the new. Perhaps it is time to take a deep breath and remember that you are bigger than the situation you are in, and that it is time to fully embrace what happened and the lesson it taught you. This Capricorn New Moon, being the first New Moon of 2024, makes this an even more powerful time for setting intentions and manifesting new beginnings for the year ahead.
