I’ve been slowing down on sharing lately, trying to be more present, to notice more than I post. It’s easy to slip into consuming more than creating, but lately I’ve been lucky to witness so much real connection through my lens. These past few months of shoots have felt like a quiet reminder of what matters most.

Taylor and Greylan’s session was one of those. Their love was so gentle and sweet, the kind that didn’t need much direction, just space to be seen. So happy for these two and the season ahead 💛

Moments from the Team Retreat 🌿

The retreat kicked off in Atlanta with a panel at Brewery, where ReFED President .gunders moderated a conversation with , , and on how different organizations are tackling food waste across the supply chain, from the farm to the plate. It was an inspiring way to set the tone for the days ahead, bringing together diverse voices from across the food system to explore real solutions to food waste.

The remainder of the retreat took place at , a biophilic community outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Biophilic communities are designed to strengthen the connection between people and nature through thoughtful planning, green spaces, and sustainable architecture. is known for its beautiful farmland, walkable design, and commitment to environmental stewardship.

Over the following days, the team gathered for organization-wide strategy sessions and smaller breakout groups. We spent time collaborating, sharing ideas, and enjoying the serenity of our surroundings. It was a wonderful experience to come together in an inspiring place and focus on collective growth. 🌾✨

Clients were slightly better this year, half were still camera shy and several insisted on eating mid-session (which I told them was rude, but it was their shoot). At least we are making progress with the resting bird face.
