The West Virginia Chapter of the International Personnel Management Association offers meetings, functions, a monthly newsletter, and an annual training and development conference. At the meetings, Chapter business is conducted and guest speakers present a variety of human resource related topics. The training and development conferences feature programs and speakers who present practical and timely human resource information. By participating in the Chapter's activities, members exchange and discuss ideas, and are provided with an opportunity to be a member of a support network made up of individuals who have a shared interest in public human resources issues.
Members also have an opportunity to join the IPMA-US, with additional benefits such as regional and international conferences, seminars, professional papers, and the international newsletter. Members or IPMA-US have free membership in the West Virginia Chapter.
