I'On July 4 Celebrati'on. Some.of the Trumpers dislikes our wokeness and flag. Almost everyone loved our beach bus information and the gold doubloons we handed out in our pirate costumes. The bouy with the blue star was memorial for Julia.

Twenty years ago I'On was by far the most progressive white residential community in Mount Pleasant. Culture and civic life bloomed. We had 10 I'Onissimo! concerts per year. We had famers markets, bike races, a lecture program by residents for residents and a massive end of summer childrens water festival.

After the SC backlash to Obama, the civic talent began to leave for blue states and cities. The wonderful community life catspulted property values up over 25% a year before 2007. Artists and writers were replaced by investors.

It's been two years since the amphitheater was destroyed in a windstorm. The wreakage was finally cleared away, so we don't have concerts in front of the ruins as we did two years ago. However our music has ended and the echo has faded so that only those with strong memories can still hear it.

The house in one of these images is priced at 4 million dollars. You could watch the amphitheater events from your porch. Nobody did that yesterday. The porch was empty. That is how money works. It values everything and makes what really matters unobtainable to the lower classes who can't afford it and the rich who compete for rich stuff, which doesn't include using that porch on July 4..
