Custom Kiawah Island Home Nearing Completion!

Powell Engineering provided the structural engineering and design for this magnificent custom home located on the Stono River in Kiawah Island. The home is supported on driven timber pile and reinforced concrete grade beam foundation system. The unique architectural design with long interior clear spans required a creative combination of wood, masonry, structural steel and reinforced concrete framing.
