Perry Hardison Ministries
Helping you grow spiritually, intellectually, professionally, and personally.
Have you ever noticed how many stories in the Bible are set at a well? Eliezer meeting Rebekah. Jacob meets Rachel at a well. Moses met his wife Zipporah at a well. Jesus and the Samaritan Woman. In the ancient world, the well was the crossroad of daily life. Therefore, a place of interpersonal encounters--like the old general stores or the barber shop or the beauty salon. In the midst of the routines of life, there are places where people interact. We should view these as divine appointments of which we are unaware; unplanned. These are moments of ministry, evangelism, influence, impact, adding of value, the crossroads of destiny.
Tomorrow, I return to the campus to begin what will become my 25th year teaching religion, philosophy & humanities at Alamance Community College (including 3 as an adjunct). 25 years of outstanding colleagues and of wonderful students who have enriched my life more than I could have enriched theirs. I am a blessed man and grateful for this honor and privilege.
