Get ready to dive deep into this surprisingly diverse genre (a single artist like Miss Ko dabbles in techno, r&b, jazz, and hip-hop), from its roots to its modern twists. Learn how interconnected Chinese pop music is with Korean pop music – even with the obvious language barrier, artists collaborate all the time – and how Chinese musicians are beginning to enter the Western music scene as well! If nothing else, tune in so you can hear me try and fail to read in traditional Chinese!
