What does it mean to be a Community Adviser?
For Albert Taylor, it meant opening his home, sharing family traditions, introducing Ambassador Teacher Felipe and his family to the Carteret County community, and creating a friendship that continues today.
That's why we're excited to recognize Albert Taylor of East Carteret High School in the Carteret County Public School System as Participate Learning's 2025–26 Community Adviser of the Year. 🎉
Every Ambassador Teacher receives ongoing support from Participate Learning throughout their experience. Community Advisers build on that support by helping teachers and their families feel connected to the people, places, and traditions that make a community feel like home.
