The last video in our Homegrown Roots series that highlights the local food movement as well as encourages people to get more fresh food on the table and spark local connection.
We all need each other. The series features food system experts who share the connective power of buying local foods. Up before the sun, all across the state, Arizona farmers, food, hubs, farmers markets, and food banks are working hard to bring local food to their communities. Programs like encouraged shoppers to double their SNAP/EBT benefits at local food markets like farmers markets, grocery stores, and farm stands around the state.
