What does lux mean? In lighting, the term is used to describe the total level of illumination or light intensity produced by a combination of the natural and electrical light sources found in a defined space.

Commercial electricians work from blueprints provided by the general contractor. Whether designing the system or working from blueprints, the electrician installs the conduits and runs the electrical wiring. These wires are usually terminated at switches, circuit breaker panels and relays.
