We have made the difficult decision to discontinue operations at Kids Mobility Network. During 20 years of service, Kids Mobility Network has served nearly 3,000 families, providing community benefit approaching $11 million. We are pleased to have served so many families across Colorado, several other states, and at least 5 countries.

Over the next couple of months, Kids Mobility Network will perform a systematic step down of services. We will immediately stop accepting new applications and intakes for consideration. Also, KMN will no longer accept any equipment donations. Any family that has already submitted their intake form will be served to the completion of their application. Kids Mobility Network will honor all its commitments to families, suppliers and employees as a responsible community citizen. All current applicants will receive specific correspondence regarding their current application in process.

Our difficult decision to close Kids Mobility Network is the result of an extended period of struggles to adequately staff the organization to meet the growing demand for the products and services we provide. The import tariffs imposed by the US federal government became the final significant financial assault that has destroyed KMN’s sustainability. The current economic climate has made it impossible to continue operations.

We would like to thank the many employees, donors, and volunteers that have contributed to Kids Mobility Network’s success over the past two decades. We are grateful to those that stepped up to share in our mission to serve families of children with disabilities to provide enhanced mobility, safety and independence over the past 20 years.

Kids Mobility Network through its Boundless Cycles Initiative provided this TrikExplor USA F420e bad ass electric fat tire quad. With partial paralysis on his left side, this customer needed a cycle that could provide stability and capability to return him into the back country to pursue his pleasures of fly fishing and outdoor photography. This cycle definitely was the ticket with a powerful motor, 4WD capabilities, and fully articulating air ride suspension to help maintain traction and a smooth ride. Kids Mobility Network then worked with our partners at Accessible Cycles and Adaptive Bikes to figure out how to move all the controls to the right side of the bike to make it easy to control all the power. The pictures speak for themselves.

We are so pleased to provide special solutions for unique situations to optimize outcomes, open up new adventures, or allow our customers to get back to their favorite outdoor activities. What a bad ass quad to match!

Our new friend, Miralini received her new Rifton X330 medium adaptive tricycle as part of our Boundless Cycles Initiative. She was so excited to receive her new bike and ride.

If you know someone that would like an adaptive bike or accessible cycle, join us at our Boundless Cycles Initiative Demo Day on March 22nd to test drive dozens of different cycles, adaptive joggers, cargo bikes, bike trailers and more!
