For National Poetry Month at Coe College's Stewart Memorial Library, we have displayed books that introduce you to new poems and also challenge what we think of as a poem. Let's explore.

As we transition neatly from Women’s History Month to National Poetry Month in April, consider attending the spring literary event from Coe College’s English, Creative Writing, and Communication Studies departments, featuring four important voices in the contemporary Iowa poetry scene: Hannah Bonner, Daniel Khalastchi, Anna Morrison, and Coe’s own creative writing professor Margaret LeMay.
