👏Shoutout to the Cedar Rapids Police Department! 👏
The Cedar Rapids Police Department (CRPD) has been working a specific operation to identify and take down those who would use and exploit children since 2024. They have made 14 arrests since January alone, and over 50 since the commencement of the operation! CRPD, your community is incredibly grateful for the dedication, persistence, and courage of the officers, investigators, and prosecutors who have been working tirelessly to protect our community’s most vulnerable.
Every arrest represents more than a case—it represents children who may be safer today because someone chose to act.
At Chains Interrupted, we know that ending child trafficking takes all of us. Law enforcement, the legal system, child protection professionals, schools, healthcare providers, businesses, faith communities, parents, neighbors, and more each play a vital role in recognizing the warning signs and reporting concerns.
Thank you to the Cedar Rapids Police Department for your unwavering commitment to pursuing those who exploit children. Your work matters, and our community is stronger because of it❣️🎉🎈🥳👏
