Summer is flying by!
Matthew 25's Youth Development Program is already in its third week, and our students have been hard at work learning, growing, and making a difference in our community.
Read our Week 1 and Week 2 recaps on our website to see what our Seed Crew has been accomplishing, the skills they're building, and the impact they're making along the way.
Follow along as we continue sharing their journey throughout the summer!

Did you know? In 2025, Matthew 25's Cultivate Hope programs provided more than $90,000 worth of free, healthy food to neighbors in our community through the Pay-It- Forward programs at Groundswell Cafe and the Cultivate Hope Corner Store.
Every Pay-It-Forward meal and Free Produce Corner fruit and veggie shared is possible because of people and organizations who believe everyone deserves access to healthy food and the dignity of choice.
Today, we'd like to say thank you to International Paper for their generous support of Cultivate Hope. Their investment helps us continue providing healthy food, strengthening our community, and ensuring that when someone needs a little extra help, it's there.
To International Paper, and to all of our supporters, thank you for helping us cultivate hope every day.

Join us for our July Community Building Potluck!
This Tuesday, July 14, from 5:00–6:30 PM at Groundswell Cafe (201 3rd AVE SW), we'll gather around the table for good food, meaningful conversation, and community.
This month's theme is Transformative Justice, a framework for repairing and preventing harm within communities.
Everyone is welcome! Bring a dish to share if you're able, or simply bring yourself. We hope you'll join us for an evening of connection and conversation.
We know we've shared a lot about Transform Week over the past couple of weeks, but we just had to share a few more photos that show the incredible difference our volunteers made.
These before-and-after transformations are only possible because hundreds of people gave their time, talents, and hearts to help neighbors who couldn't complete these projects on their own. Every repaired porch, fresh coat of paint, rebuilt step, and cleaned-up yard is a reflection of your compassion and commitment to our community.
To every Transform Week volunteer: thank you. Your hard work has made homes safer, neighborhoods stronger, and reminded so many homeowners that they are cared for.
We couldn't be more grateful for all you accomplished.
