I-80 From Council Bluffs to Des Moines is Now Closed, Most Roads Impassable A portion of Interstate-80 is now closed. According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, I-80 from Council Bluffs to Des Moines is officially closed due to the blizzard warning. Stuart Police Department notifies the traveling public that
