You asked. We listened.
Several community members recently asked what businesses can do to reduce opportunities for theft, break-ins, and other criminal activity.
The good news is that many crimes are crimes of opportunity. Simple steps like proper lighting, secure doors and windows, alarm systems, and employee awareness can make a significant difference.
As we kick off our Community Safety & Crime Prevention Series, we're starting with practical business security tips that can help protect employees, customers, and property.
Prevention starts before a crime occurs.

Mark your calendars for Cool Down With a Cop!
Join us at Granby Gardens Park for an afternoon of frozen treats, friendly faces, and conversation with the Cayce Police Department.
We'll have frozen custard, smoothies, popsicles, and plenty of opportunities for kids and families to spend time with officers, ask questions, share a laugh, and get to know the people who serve our community.
We hope you'll stop by, enjoy a treat, and spend a little time with us.

Men, if no one has told you lately, you matter, you’re important, and you got this, bro!
June is Men’s Health Month.
As my football coach would say, “We’ve GOT TO GET GOING!”
Our families, friends, and communities need us.
When men prioritize their physical and mental health, families and communities are stronger.
Please make time for your mental and physical checkups. Let’s be proactive, not reactive.
Remember, every positive change starts somewhere. Start with a short walk and build toward 30 minutes of activity five days a week. Add some strength training, schedule your checkups, and make healthier choices.
Men, let’s improve our health, live longer, and be there for the people who depend on us.
Let’s go! Let’s get GOING!
Back-to-back 4A Baseball Championship appearances and a state title to show for it, what an incredible accomplishment!
