Hi Everyone! As you know we are moving to a single page for Alameda County Library. There will be lots of great information with goings on at other local libraries as well that may be of interest to you. Also, our Friends of the Castro Valley Library will begin posting the many programs they support to THEIR Facebook and Instagram pages https://www.instagram.com/friendsofcvlibrary/. Castro Valley News will continue to share many of the happenings at your local library AND we will soon have a monthly column in the Castro Valley Forum. So don't worry, we're still around and still your local community library :)

Upcoming dates for the ESL Discussion Group
Sundays: November 23, December 14 and December 21 from 2 pm to 3 pm

Come improve your English conversation skills by chatting in a friendly group. A native English speaker will facilitate the group. You can learn new vocabulary and practice your pronunciation. Join us!

Take a break from your holiday shopping and enjoy live, big-band music at the library!
A local Bay Area favorite, “In Full Swing,” is a 20-piece big-band with vocalists. This performance will include big-band jazz and seasonal classics with a fun, big-band twist!
