Father, you loved me from before you created me.
You watched me all my life fall into sin and wretchedness.
You disciplined me over and over and, yet, I continue to run away from you.
In my rebellion, you gave me the gift of my daughters.
Through them, you revealed to me all of Your character and you brought to light my deceitful heart.
You send forth the Spirit of your Son into my heart, crying "Abba! Father!"
And only then did I know what a faithful, loving and forgiving Father you are.
My sacrifice to my girls are nothing compared to Your sacrifice on the cross.

Thank you Father for choosing me before the foundation of the world and adopting me into your family, through Jesus Christ.
Thank you, Jesus for saving me and forgiving all of my transgressions against you.

Today is Father's Day and as we celebrate our earthly fathers… I celebrate You.
All the Honor and Glory belongs to you.
