In keeping with our pledge to restore and re-purpose all we can, we have finished building and installing our floor cabinets for Hammar House. We built these using a custom wood box kits then cladded them with historic wood from Hammar House. The doors are from the original potato bins and were present in the house when we bought it. We restored the potato bin doors using authentic milk paint and wax and added Walnut counter tops. The cabinets are designed to be moved and are not permanently affixed to the historic walls.
