Wyoming Relay is a service provided to all residents of Wyoming at no cost that connects individuals who are Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, DeafBlind and/or have a Speech Disability with users of standard telephones. July is National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness and Prevention Month 💙At Wyoming Relay, we recognize that individuals with cleft and craniofacial conditions may experience speech disabilities that can make everyday phone conversations more challenging. Everyone deserves to communicate with confidence—and we’re here to help.
Our relay services support clear, accessible communication over the phone, including:
✅ Speech-to-Speech (STS) – Is a phone relay services for people with speech disabilities who benefit from a specially trained communications assistant who will repeat a caller’s words, when needed for clarity.
✅ IP Relay – A texting-based phone service where you can type your words and have them voiced on calls for you.
✅ Hearing Carry-Over (HCO) – HCO is a land-line phone services that allows a person with a speech disability to listen to the person they are calling and then type out what they want the communications assistant to say on the call for them.
✅ Relay Conference Captioning (RCC) - RCC is a live captioning services that allows people with speech disabilities to fully participate in webinars, video meetings and conference calls through the “message captioner” feature. With this feature, the user can type out what they want to have voiced on the call for them.

On Helen Keller Day, we celebrate a remarkable advocate whose life changed how the world understands communication, accessibility, and possibility.
Helen Keller showed that with the right tools and support, people who are DeafBlind can connect, learn, and lead. Today, that legacy continues through services that make communication more accessible.
Wyoming Relay is proud to offer no-cost relay services for individuals who are DeafBlind or Deaf with low vision who live or work in Wyoming. These services include:
TeleBraille for real-time braille communication.
IP Relay for texting-based phone calls.
