🌟 Best of All - Hazel

Hazel has been bringing so much joy and energy to Music Early Learners! She has an incredible love for music and the ukulele has become a particular personal favorite. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she is always ready to jump into every activity with a smile. We are so proud of Hazel and love watching her confidence, creativity, and love of learning continue to grow each week.

🎊 Volunteer Spotlight - Shri

This month we want to recognize Shri for all of the incredible work she does behind the scenes at the Playhouse. For the past two semesters, Shri has served as our Math Coordinator, and her dedication, reliability, and willingness to help have made a tremendous impact on our one-on-one tutoring program. While families may only see the final tutor match, there is so much work that happens behind the scenes to make those connections possible. Shri has spent countless hours helping match participants with tutors and ensuring they have all of the resources needed to be successful. Consistently showing up with a positive attitude and a willingness to serve, we're honoring her as an invaluable member of the GiGi's Playhouse family.

✨ Playhouse Inspiration - GiGi's Studio & The Raleigh Police Dept

On May 1, GiGi's Studio hit the road for a special afternoon with the Raleigh Police Department, and what a wonderful experience it was! Led by our Artist in Residence, Cady Driver, participants explored watercolor painting on canvas through a collaborative art project that encouraged creativity, teamwork, and self-expression.

The officers showed up with open hearts, genuine curiosity, and a willingness to engage with our participants in meaningful ways. Thank you to everyone from RPD for welcoming us, embracing our artists, and helping create a day full of creativity, community, and joy.

Our paintings will be on display at the Raleigh Police Department in July!
