My client James was 32% body fat when he came to me. He told me he felt ashamed of his own body.
But that's not the worst part.
His energy would crash by 2:00 p.m. He snored so loudly his wife had trouble sleeping. He couldn’t play with his kids without getting winded, and his blood work looked like a man 20 years older.
He'd tried everything from keto to Peloton to CrossFit, but nothing stuck because nothing was sustainable.
Here's what we did instead:
- Lifted 3x a week. Compound movements. 45 minutes max.
- Walked 10,000 steps daily. Most of it during calls.
- Ate 1g of protein per pound of goal bodyweight.
- Built a simple sleep routine that got him 7.5 hours
- Cut alcohol to one night a week.
10 months later:
- 245 down to 198.
- 32% body fat down to 13%.
- Resting heart rate from 78 to 54.
- Visceral fat down 77%.
But the real transformation wasn't the number on the scale.
It was watching him sprint after his 7-year-old at the park without stopping.
It was his wife telling me she got her husband back.
It was him closing the biggest deal of his career because he had the energy to outwork everyone in the room.
Body fat isn't vanity. It's the cleanest signal of how your body is actually functioning.
Get it to healthy levels, and everything else gets easier.
99.9% of men will never see 12%.
97% will never see 15%.
