β¨ Meet Professor Dr. Jung-Sun Park, Professor of Asian-Pacific Studies at CSUDH!
π Dr. Park is a cultural anthropologist whose research explores transnationalism, migration, citizenship, race and ethnicity, Asian American communities, diaspora, identity, and Korean and Asian popular culture.
π Her scholarship has made major contributions to the study of the Korean diaspora, Korean American experiences, and transnational cultural flows across the Pacific.
π She is the co-author and co-editor of several important books on Korean American studies, Hallyu, and global diasporic communities, and her research has been published widely in books, journals, and reference works.
π¬ From the Korean Wave to Japanese comics and animation, Dr. Parkβs work helps us better understand how culture, identity, and power move across borders.
