Carson Senior Assisted Living and Alzheimers Unit

Responsibilities:

Help clients take prescribed medication

Assist clients with ambulation and mobility

Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

Help clients with physical therapy exercises

Assist clients with meals

Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own

Be a pleasant and supportive companion

Report any unusual incidents

Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements

Able to pass a background check (livescan)

Proven experience as a caregiver

Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid

Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

Respectful and compassionate

Good time management skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Strong ethics

Physical endurance

WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS a must !!!!

Essential Job Requirements

Currently hiring Caregivers for full-time and part time(4 days a week p.t, 5 days f.t), weekends, & weekdays is a must.
Able to work both AM and PM shifts.

Must have a positive attitude and loving helping our elderly residents.

Our Caregivers provide the following services for seniors and others needing help:

Dressing assistance
Grooming and bathing assistance
Companionship
Feeding
Transferring
Toileting
Must have open availability.
Mandatory Live-Scan Clearance and TB test and CPR/First Aid certification is required.
COVID test required
Must also have previous experience as a caregiver who is familiar with managing 10 plus residents within an 8hr shift.
Willing to train the right person
