Yesterday was a busy day for most Pacific Northwest fire agencies dealing with high winds and water issues spanning multiple counties. Yesterday Gig Harbor Fire Department in Pierce County responded to this 2nd alarm structure fire. Crews were on the scene for hours as the 3 story residential home was expelling smoke as seen in this picture. Crews reported the fire was located in the attic and were in defensive operations for the majority of the incident.
Our dispatchers were able to send the report for this incident quickly and provide owner information and more to assist our clients in their efforts to repair the home back to its original state.
