DESSERT:Driscoll’s® Classic Strawberry Shortcake

INGREDIENTS:
3 ½ cups all-purpose Milling Bakers Flour
½ cup Imperial Sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
10 Tbsp unsalted butter, chilled, cut into pieces, plus more for pans
1 ¾ cups Schweppes Heavy Whipping Cream
1 tsp vanilla extract ¼ cup Imperial Sugar

INSTRUCTION:
Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease 3 (8-inch) round cake pans with butter. In a food
processor, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add butter
and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add heavy cream. Pulse just
until moistened. Do not over mix. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and
gather into a large ball. Gently knead until smooth, about 5 turns. Divide into
3 equal pieces. In each prepared cake pan, press and spread a dough ball to
the edges, making it as smooth as possible. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until
golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
While cakes are cool, prepare whipped filling. Place one cake on a serving plate.
Top evenly with ⅓ whipped filling and ⅓ strawberries. Place the second cake layer
on first. Top top evenly with another ⅓ whipped filling and ⅓ strawberries. Place
final cake layer of filling. Spread remaining filling on top, leaving a 1-inch border
around edges. Top with remaining strawberries in a mound. Serve immediately.

DESSERT: Walnut Chocolate Bark
Makes 12 servings

INGREDIENTS:
12 oz UNREAL Dark Chocolate Snacks (or 12 oz chocolate bar, broken into pieces)
12 oz white chocolate chips (or 12 oz white chocolate bar, broken into pieces)
2 tsp vegetable oil 1 ½ cups Kirkland Signature Walnuts, coarsely chopped
½ cup pomegranate arils
½ tsp Kosher Flake Sea Salt

INSTRUCTIONS:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place ⅔ dark chocolate chips in a medium
glass bowl with 1 tsp vegetable oil. Microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds to
melt chocolate. Stir. Repeat until the chocolate is mostly melted. Add the remaining
dark chocolate into the bowl. Stir vigorously, or until you have a thick, melted bowl of
chocolate. Repeat the same process with the white chocolate chips and remaining 1
tsp vegetable oil.
Using a spatula, spoon the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet to make
a ¼-inch layer. Create an optional marbled look by reserving and dropping spoonfuls
of the dark chocolate onto the white layer and white chocolate onto the dark layer. Use
a knife to create an unstructured pattern. Sprinkle with Kirkland Signature™ Walnuts
and pomegranate arils. Lightly press into the surface of the bark. Sprinkle with sea salt
flakes. Refrigerate until firm. Remove from the refrigerator. Carefully break into pieces.
Enjoy immediately, or freeze in a freezer bag or airtight container for up to 1 month.
