ent goals. My experience as a longtime member of the education community has informed my leadership on the Carlsbad School Board for my last two-terms in office. I have advocated for responsible decisions which support strong student achievement, fiscal stability, and citizen oversight. I have also led the charge to provide safe storage of firearms in our community in order to create a safer environment for our children on and off campus. My dedication to public service and to our public education in CUSD has been made possible with the collective efforts of many partnerships forged with the Carlsbad community throughout the years. I want to thank all for entrusting me to collaboratively lead to accomplish our shared mission. With your support, I look forward to continuing our progress in strengthening our district and inspiring our students to become lifelong learners.
