July 14th 2021, I wonder if this date was reserved for her since the beginning. We've spent a lot of July 14ths with Joyce Thomas but they all seemed insignificant except this one...

I can't help the pain death causes and we can't take back the finality of death but we can learn from experiences.

Joyce was (im sure still is) a very matter of fact lady, she liked things a certain way and you knew it. She was not bitter nor mean about it just and simply, like this.... I like it this way its my life and it will be so... so there....

Joyce was a mother and grandmother and great grandmother to whomever she decided she wanted to be a mother grandmother or great grandmother to. It wasn't up to you it was up to her. She was a wife to only one man though and now she is back with him and that is wonderful for them. His name and her missing him was one of the very last things she spoke of.

Joyce decided against all recommendations exactly where she wanted to die and she even decided when, right after she spoke of Jack she welcomed her Heavenly Father to come get her and He did just that.

Joyce held on to clean upright living, honesty, integrity, love, family and faith. She NEVER faltered was rewarded with dignity and respect from her family and friends. Her sons and daughters allowed her to go home to her nest and leave this world her way and just the way she wanted to. Surrounded at home by what she loved, her family.

I will certainly miss you Joyce with all my heart as I miss all the greatest generation era of family that went before you. I dont know whats left for the world but its getting pretty rough here without the people we looked up to for security and reassuring words of experience.

Father in Heaven with sorrow in my heart, I ask that you recieve Joyce Thomas as a living loving child who kept faith, lived with love and praised you Father with her words, and more so with her actions. She lived by your words, talked like Revelations, loved like Ephesians and cried like Matthew. Joyce lived by the book and died 😢 a good and faithful servant, we will grieveher absence until we pass...
In Jesus Christ's Holy Name please bring peace and understanding to those of us left behind. Amen.
