Good Afternoon,

The following headlines remain in effect for the dangerous heat expected across the region through Friday.
A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM Friday for all of Hancock...Washington and Penobscot Counties as well as...southern Piscataquis County and southeast Aroostook county.
Heat Advisory remains in effect til 8 PM this evening for northeast Aroostook County.
The risk of severe storms each night through Friday has decreased but a non-zero threat still exists.

Extreme heat is often paired with severe storms that can knock out power. Keep a cooler and cold packs nearby to help keep refrigerated medicine, like insulin, cool during an outage.
