NOAA has issued a G3 storm watch for Monday into Monday night. With a G3 solar storm, the KP index is usually a 7, which means aurora could be visible as far south as New York. This would put all of Maine solidly in the viewing range for the northern lights if the storm can stay strong into the nighttime hours. The best chance to view will be between 11PM - 2 AM.
