Frying Pan Design

I’ve just launched the 2nd edition of my workbook for writers and it has a sleek new design with soft grey interior fonts, more room to write, 6 new modules, and expansions on the original formulas…

I received a lot of compliments on the design and the sturdy hard cover of the 1st edition, but also comments like “I don’t want to mess it up” and “I don’t want to write in i and mark it up, so I’m writing my notes on separate pieces of paper”.

While that’s a nice sentiment, I WANT you to mess it up. I want you to dive in and use all the formulas to the fullest. I want it to be crammed full of your ideas and all the messiness of an evolving creative project, with twists, turns, adding, and erasing. I want the cover to be half hanging off by the time you write your first draft and realized you’ve proven to yourself that you can be a novelist ;)

So I’ve made this edition more…”workbooky”. It’s bigger (240+ pages this time) and more flexible with a durable laminate soft cover. It can be stuffed in a bag or backpack and still lies nice and flat for both left-handers and right-handers to use with ease.

Hello everyone, I’m Brigit and I’m the designer/owner of Frying Pan Design. I wanted to drop a few lines about the process of working with me & how I can help you.

1) I love to work with local businesses & artists to help them not only be found by other locals, but to assist their income by being available to the rest of the country (and often beyond) on functional, highly visible websites.

2) The most common horror story I hear from new clients is the “disappearing designer”. For some reason, the web industry is highly prone to “professionals” disappearing after contracting or midway through a project. This often leads to not only a unfinished product, but can leave clients locked out of their own websites or not in legal possession of their logos and other company files. Rest assured I am not flighty, and am always an email away. When a project is finished all files and passwords are given to you as the new owner.

3) I need extremely little of your time to complete a successful project. I’m an intuitive designer and often already have a vision for your company before I speak to you. That being said, if you have a specific vision already, I’m happy to simply bring that to life for you.

4) What I can offer your business: websites, marketing materials (full service from design to printing) such as brochures, business cards, catalogs, stickers, labels & more), logos, full branding, car decals, and much more.

5) I’m also a published writer and can assist with copywriting for your marketing materials, or edit your pre-existing materials for an extra professional edge.
