Becoming a licensed delegating nurse (CM/DN) in the state of Maryland offers a nurse so much flexibility and autonomy in the workplace. Below are some key responsibilities within this role:
Supervision: Oversees and delegates nursing functions to unlicensed personnel.
Care Planning: Develops and reviews initial and updated service/care plans for residents.
Training: Instructs and supervises medication technicians (MTs).
Compliance: Ensures all delegated care meets Maryland Board of Nursing (COMAR) regulations.
Direct Care: May provide direct patient care as needed.
Training: Training medication technicians and coordinating medical services. If you are interested in joining our team, LCN Services LLC offers training approved by the State of Maryland. Our company will reimburse you for any fees once the course and CM/DN licensure requirements have been completed.
