Yes, we area alive and well and now under the VFW Post 430 out of Canyon, Tx. We've found a permanent home. Look at our album and see what we've been up to. Thanks for any support. Donations of items can be taken to the Veterans Resource Center at 10th and Taylor in Amarillo. OR monetary donations can be mailed to VFW, %Verlene Dickson, P O Box 417, Canyon, Tx 79015. Be sure to put Care Boxes or postage in the memo section.

We will be at the Junk Hippy Roadshow May 2, at the Civic Center in Amarillo, 9-6..................come see us and see what deals we can make

Have fun, be careful and protect your cats! Also remember we accept Halloween candy to send to our troops in their Chrstmas Care Boxes. We'll be mailing about Nov.18-20. BEFORE THANKSGIVING FOR SURE!

YES!!! I have another interview on the radio TOMORROW December 28th AT 12:30 ON 1360 AM KDJW with Chris Albracht. The interview will be about the HUGE beef jerky drive and America Supports You Texas and the Care Boxes For The Troops. We will be volunteering with the local military people, United Supermarkets, and Frito Lay for a HUGE beef jerky drive to get donations of Matador Beef Jerky to send to our troops in their Care Boxes! I'm so excited! The beef jerky will be on sale and you can get coupons! We also need volunteers to help us meet and greet people as they come in the door to tell them about the project to help our troops! We had a ball last year and we got over 3500 packs of beef jerky to send overseas. What a great way to start out the new year! THE DONATION DRIVE WILL BE JANUARY 5TH in the Amarillo and Canyon United Supermarkets. Other towns will be having the donation drive other days......see the schedule and volunteer are needed at ANY of the stores. Please email asytexas@gmail to request the store near you. IF there is interest in that store you will be put on the list to help there. My Care Boxes team will be at the Canyon United on Saturday Jan. 5th.
