Spoke with a Real Estate investor today about using IRAs to actually purchase Real Estate. Absolutely. Direct the IRA custodian to buy it with cash from the IRA. Direct the IRA custodian to pay the contractors you hire to fix it up. Direct the IRA custodian to deposit the rent checks or the proceeds check from the sale.
