I’ll share my Jimmy Buffett Story. Back in the early 90’s, when I lived in Daytona Beach, I was in a band called Big Wide World, with my friend Rich Lysloff. We were the house band at 701 South which was a hot spot there. We were approached to play as the backup band in a skit for Joe Piscapoe and it was part of this big event for Hawaiian Tropic. Well one of the opening bands were on Jimmy Buffet’s record label, and a few of them were members of his band as well. About halfway through their set, the buff, walks on stage and performs some of his big hits with the band. We went in after so I get to say that Jimmy Buffett once opened up for me! The end.
