We had a wonderful time welcoming the Cherokee Recreation and Parks summer camp to the Cherokee County History Center this morning! Campers explored the fascinating history of the Cherokee syllabary, searched the galleries during a fun scavenger hunt, and created colorful bracelets to take home as a special keepsake.

Thank you to Cherokee Recreation & Parks for spending the morning with us—we loved sharing history through hands-on learning and can't wait to welcome more young historians to the museum!
