He graduated from the University of Michigan - Dearborn with a degree in English Literature and Linguistics. His first EP, This is My Message to the World, was inspired by the works of 19th century poet Emily Dickinson. The artist’s goals in music are to educate and inspire with long term plans to devote time, money, and resources towards education, infrastructure, transportation, and criminal justice reformations in his home city of Detroit.
Hear me out: Hakuna Matata — but with minor elements.
I really like the idea of making a slightly darker version of Hakuna Matata. It would capture some of the underlying elements of song being a temporary coping mechanism. Simba uses the philosophy to avoid responsibility and suppress guilt. It’s really a bittersweet song the more you think about it. 🤔
