Zoom lifting 40-minute limit on free video calls for Thanksgiving Zoom officials announced this month that they are lifting the 40-minute limit for video calls on the company’s free plan on Thanksgiving Day to allow users to connect with friends and family members amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Tip # 1:
Use the best Internet connection you can.
In general:
Wired connections are best as they give the highest bandwidth speed available up to 1GB per second.
WiFi connections are next as they can run up to 433 MB per second.
Cellular is third on the list with speeds up to about 50 MB per second.
