The 26-year-old building is Ashley Capital’s first office acquisition in the area and will serve as an opportunity to re-energize a top-tier asset in one of Chicago’s strongest suburban office markets. Ashley Capital executives and Flint, MI officials celebrated full occupancy at Flint Commerce Center 1 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, April 15. Ashley Capital was also joined by its General Contractor, Oliver / Hatcher Construction, and leasing brokers Greg Hudas and Joe Hamway of Signature Associates.

Building 1 at Flint Commerce Center, the former site of GM's Buick City, is now home to tenants Bunzl Distribution and Victory Packaging, who were represented by Cushman & Wakefield. Susan Harvey, Senior Vice President of Ashley Capital (pictured), said work continues on the remainder of the site, which, when completed, will provide 3.5 million square feet of industrial space and will house approximately 2,500 full-time employees.
