The greatest power negative people have over your life is the power you give them.

They don't control your future.
They don't define your worth.
They don't determine your success.

Too many people spend years trying to prove themselves to people who already made up their minds. Stop chasing approval from those who never intended to celebrate you.

Not everyone is meant to walk beside you. Some people were only meant to teach you a lesson, not become part of your future.

Protect your peace.
Guard your heart.
Keep your eyes on your purpose.

The people who criticize you didn't give you your calling, and they can't take it away. Let them talk while you keep building. Let them doubt while you keep believing. Let them watch while God opens doors they never thought possible.

Your value was never determined by someone else's opinion. Walk away from the negativity, keep your faith strong, and never hand someone else the keys to your joy.

The best response to negativity isn't revenge—it's a life so full of purpose that their words no longer matter.

God will let you be under more pressure than you think you can handle. This is so you will discover the potential and greatness in you. When you’re under pressure, your declaration should be that you can handle it.

On a daily basis, you have to release the offense, release what someone said, release the guilt, release the jealousy. Don’t let the sun go down without purifying yourself of any toxins and things that are going to weigh you down. God is the quarterback. He has the favor, the increase, the opportunity, but He’s looking for separation. He’s looking for those who will come out from among the crowd, not people who fit in, settle for mediocrity, compromise. That’s not who you are. You’re a vessel of gold. You have greatness in you. God has His amazing wonders already on your schedule. Now do your part and purify yourself.

There comes a point in life when you realize that real love isn't found in grand gestures or perfect moments. It's found in the everyday things.

It's found in the person who stands beside you when life gets hard. The one who celebrates your victories as if they were their own, carries your burdens when you're too tired to stand, and reminds you that you're never fighting alone.

Virginia, thank you for being my best friend before anything else. Thank you for believing in me when my dreams seemed impossible, for standing beside me through every long day, every late night, every challenge, every victory, and every setback.

You've never asked me to be someone I'm not. You've simply loved me through every season of life.

Our journey hasn't always been easy, but I wouldn't change it for anything. We've built a business together, served our community together, cried together, prayed together, laughed together, and leaned on God together.

When people see BBQ & A Prayer, they may see my face, but they don't always see the woman beside me who has sacrificed just as much, worked just as hard, and helped make all of this possible.

You are my peace in a chaotic world, my comfort on the hard days, and the first person I want to share every blessing with. Thank you for loving me not just with your words, but through your actions every single day.

I promise to keep choosing you, to keep praying with you, to keep fighting for us, and to keep growing old by your side.

I love you more today than yesterday, and I'll spend the rest of my life making sure you never have to question where you stand with me.

Thank you for being my wife, my best friend, and one of God's greatest blessings in my life.

I love you, Virginia. ā¤ļøšŸ™

If nobody's talking about you, you're probably not making much of an impact.

The moment you begin standing for something, speaking the truth as you see it, building something meaningful, or refusing to stay silent, you'll discover that not everyone will cheer you on.

Some people will support you.

Some will question you.

Some will criticize you.

That's part of making a difference.

I've learned that criticism often comes with visibility. The more lives you touch, the more conversations your work creates—both positive and negative.

Don't let the opinions of others distract you from your purpose.

Stay focused.

Stay humble.

Stay consistent.

History isn't written by the people sitting on the sidelines. It's written by those willing to step into the arena, knowing they'll be judged, misunderstood, and criticized along the way.

If you're doing what's right, keep going.

If you're making a positive impact, keep going.

Because at the end of the day, people rarely spend time talking about those who aren't making a difference.

Purpose will always outlast popularity. šŸ’Æ

EUSTACE / ATHENS, TEXAS ā¤ļø

Today was something we'll never forget.

This was our very first time serving the Eustace and Athens communities, and what we experienced today reminded us why we started this journey in the first place.

Throughout the day, people walked up to our trailer and shared stories that touched our hearts. They told us how our page helped them through some of the darkest seasons of their lives. How our posts gave them hope, encouragement, or simply a reason to keep going when life felt overwhelming.

Many said they had followed us for a long time but had never lived close enough to try our food. When they saw we were coming here, they made it a point to be here today.

One gentleman saw us on TV yesterday, called our new answering service, and later told us how impressed he was with how kind and helpful the person on the phone had been. He arrived before we even opened and ordered enough food to feed a crowd.

Over and over, we heard the same words:

"We'll be back tomorrow."

That means more to us than you'll ever know.

People often thank us for the food, but the truth is... you've changed our lives too.

This journey has taught us lessons we could have never learned on our own. Through your stories, your prayers, your encouragement, and your support, you've become more than customers—you've become family.

You've helped us see life through a different lens. You've reminded us that sometimes a simple meal, a conversation, or even a Facebook post can make a difference in someone's life.

For that, from the bottom of our hearts...

Thank you.

We'll be running a little behind tomorrow, but we will be there for our final day, and we can't wait to see everyone one last time before we head to the next event.

Our schedule keeps us on the road through Sunday, but today reminded us that no matter where we go, it's not just about the barbecue.

It's about the people.

It's about the prayers.

It's about the relationships we build along the way.

God has blessed us far beyond anything we ever imagined, and we're grateful that you've chosen to be part of this journey with us.

We'll see you tomorrow, Eustace and Athens. ā¤ļøšŸ™
