Learn Coding with Scratch meets Monday, June 8 from 6-7 PM in the Kunkel Creation Station.

Have fun creating digital games and animation using Scratch, a visual coding language designed for kids and supported by the Scratch Foundation (MIT). Each session includes a new activity, so participants can attend any date they are able.

Summer Unearthed begins Monday, June 8 from 10-11:30 AM in the Kunkel Creation Station and Masland Board Room.

Kids ages 6 to 11 are invited to dig into summer fun with art projects, outdoor exploration, and take-home crafts focused on caring for the earth.

Monday and Wednesday sessions each week will feature the same activities, so please register for only one session per week. Registration required.

Calling all ACOTAR fans. A brand-new book club is coming to Fredricksen.

Join us this month on June 12 and June 26 from 6:30-8 PM in the Small Meeting Room as we dive into A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. Bring your copy of the book and your favorite moments from the series.

The club will focus on a different book each month as we journey through the ACOTAR series together leading up to the anticipated release of Book 6 in October. Ages 18+.

Over the next few weeks you may notice some construction happening at the library. Our upper level entrance will remain open but there could be large equipment taking up space. We do have a lower lot off of Walnut St, and a lower entrance if you prefer to utilize those.

Presented by Getty Wilson, Mortgage Loan Originator with First Commonwealth Bank, this session will cover the essential steps of financing and purchasing a home, including pre-approval, credit repair, and the closing process.

Plot Twisters meets Tuesday, June 2 from 5:30-8:00 PM in the Community Room.

Plot Twisters is a dynamic writing group for teens, open to fiction, fan fiction, manga, poetry, and more. Members share works in progress and support each other in reaching writing goals. The first 30 minutes are for socializing, with writing sharing and feedback beginning at 6:00 PM.

This program is for ages 13 to 18. No registration required.
