🔎What: Come chill with IEEE/ACM at our first social event of the semester! We’ll be having a special guest workshop come to teach us how to make EECS-themed origami.

🎉Open to all undergrads! The MIT IEEE/ACM is pleased to be organizing a fireside chat with Jason Ku! Dr. Ku, '09, PhD '16 has been a 6.006 lecturer for the past 3 years and has just moved to Singapore, now a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He’s known for his research in computational geometry and is also an origami artist.
🚀Come join us for a fireside chat on research, career, MIT, Singapore, or just about anything you might want to ask him! This will be a casual discussion and get-to-know-your-professors chat, so please participate and ask questions (doesn’t have to be about academia)!

MIT IEEE/ACM student organization is holding a contest to decide on a new design for our merchandise!
🎉We will be selecting 3 winners. We’ll have 1st place pick first out of the three prizes, then second, then third gets whatever is left:
- any prize up to $160
- Hydroflask
- Snack box
💡Guideline: Your design must be course 6 themed, but the rest is up to your imagination! Please include our logo or name and use as few colors as possible due to cost constraints! Be creative and keep your design clean 🙂
