Norwich University senior Brady Simmons is the 2026 recipient of the Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference's Hap Rocketto Excellence Award!

Simmons embodies the spirit of this award as an inaugural member of Norwich University's recently-reestablished NCAA rifle program, who maintains academic excellence while mentoring younger teammates in goal-setting and athletic technique on the range and continues to display leadership qualities off the range by serving as a Company Commander for Charlie Company in the Norwich ROTC Corps of Cadets.

Congratulations to the 2026 Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference Coach of the Year: Melissa Mulloy-Mecozzi!

Mulloy-Mecozzi has been at the helm of the MIT rifle program since 2011 and has served as the conference's Statistical Secretary for the past three years. She was nominated and selected by her peers for her commitment to both her program and the conference. In particular, she was noted to be uniquely welcoming and supportive of new coaches as they navigate their conference participation and the sport of collegiate rifle.
