Boundaries not only protect our time and energy, but they also help to protect our relationships. They make us examine our own limits and challenge us to communicate more directly, which helps to prevent miscommunications, misunderstandings and built up resentment.

Tune into the podcast this week to find the balance between generosity and boundaries, the 🔗 is in my bio!

I’ve learned that a well boundaried CEO knows how to stay in their own lane, and trust that you are completely capable and competent to stay in yours.

It’s taken me a while to get to this point, but by practicing the following four core boundaries, it’s become second nature to me!

Looking for a place to start? Map out how you can improve your own boundaries in these four areas:

🗺 Physical boundaries
🕐 Time boundaries
📞 Communication boundaries
💕 Emotional boundaries

Remember, healthy boundaries will help you protect your energy, prioritize your wellness, and help you communicate more directly.

Has busy-ness become the norm for your life? Have you felt that you’re living to work rather than working to live?

If you are, you’re not alone. So many of us are impacted by internalized capitalism – it can feel like every decision we make is based on our productivity.

This way of living wreaks havoc on our nervous system and doesn’t foster an environment where we feel like we can truly flourish.

This concept of internalized capitalism is something that I have spent more and more time thinking about, and seeing the impact of in my own life.

This week on the podcast, I’m sharing a replay of one of our most downloaded episodes: Dismantling Internalized Capitalism – you’ll hear what this means, how it plays into our life and how we can start to break up with this systemic challenge that so many of us, especially ambitious empaths are still living and operating inside of.

Join me at the link in my bio, you’ll hear:

– What internalized capitalism is, how it was formed, and how we can combat and overcome this systemic challenge

– Why this topic is important to me and why I believe it directly affects empaths and HSPs

– Loving as a verb and why we have to make more room in our lives for simplicity

– Rest as an act of resistance and the profound consequences that can come from it

– The idea of living in accordance with the seasons and being comfortable with downturns and breakdowns

– Four places to start when it comes to understanding internalized capitalism and dismantling it in our own lives

Many times, the specific qualities that make us an empath can be seen as a weakness, rather than a strength – especially when applying for jobs.

However, connecting with your own values, your high integrity, your ambition, your hyper functioning nature as an empath can give you huge comparative advantages in the job market.

How? This is exactly what I discuss on the newest episode of The Prosperous Empath® Podcast: A Guide to Navigating Career Transitions as an Empath.

One of the qualities I most appreciate about empaths is that we are so committed to our work, being in integrity with our values and our purpose, and how we want to make a difference in our world.

It’s mission oriented.
It’s values driven.
It's beautiful.

Here is some raw, unfiltered truth that I believe empaths need to hear right now amongst our VUCA world — you are not responsible for fixing everything and everyone.

The world is super chaotic right now, and pain is everywhere but you are not meant to carry it all.

You can’t.

Your compassion is a gift, not a burden, and you need to learn how to protect your own energy and be self compassionate with yourself so that you can extend that compassion to others and your community around you.

Also in doing that, remember that boundaries are your lifeline because if you do not protect your energy, you will burn out.

If you’ve ever tuned into the podcast, you know that one of the biggest parts of becoming a Prosperous Empath is in learning how to protect your energy, and oftentimes that was on the heels of really coming to terms with your own burnout while learning to stop over giving, over listening and over functioning for others at your own expense.

Dive deeper with me on the newest episode of The Prosperous Empath®, I am sharing 12 truths that will help you protect your heart from calcifying and commit to thrive rather than survive as an empathpreneur 🧡

I've been reflecting a lot over the past week on how challenging it is to be a human being right now, given the state of the world, given the state of the political climate, given the emotional angst and grief and pain that is so pervasive.

It is challenging to be ourselves, to be embodied, to embrace our own emotional interiors, and for us empaths – who over index on feeling – that much more difficult.

👉 However, I do believe that one of the most radical acts we can take right now is to embrace our own humanity, and to embrace being a human being, rather than a human doing.

On the podcast this week, I am sharing 12 truths that will help you protect your heart from calcifying and commit to thrive rather than survive as an empath 😌
