If you’re looking for a bold-flavored cheddar, take Cheesemonger, Andrew’s current rec: Pitchfork Cheddar. This classic English clothbound cheddar is made by the Trethowan Brothers in Somerset and then aged by our friends Neal's Yard Dairy. Swing by the cheese counter for a taste!

Our Head Chef, Didem, grew up in the Aegean region of Turkey and we’re lucky enough to have her share her culinary heritage with us in the form of dishes like this one: Börek. In this version, flakey phyllo dough is filled with spinach and feta, rolled, topped with sesame and nigella seeds, and baked until crispy and golden. And, it’s available at our dinner window at the Huron Ave shop, today, Friday 5/29! Give us a call to reserve some or stop in ASAP. Can’t make it today?
