This week, we celebrate the teachers who empower students to identify problems that matter—and take the first steps toward solving them.

Through invention education, you’re not just teaching skills—you’re shaping innovators, leaders, and future problem-solvers.

We appreciate all that you do.

Great ideas don't start with answers—they start with teachers who are willing to explore alongside their students.

To the educators bringing invention education to life: thank you for fostering creativity, resilience, and bold thinking every day.

Your impact goes far beyond the classroom.

What happens after a great idea?

On World Intellectual Property Day, we’re highlighting the importance of protecting and sharing innovation. Intellectual property gives inventors the tools to bring their ideas to life—and into the world.

Through invention education, students don’t just learn to solve problems—they learn how to protect and scale their solutions.

🌎 This Earth Day, we’re spotlighting how innovation meets sustainability.

At MIT’s Day of Climate event, LMIT brought “Eco-Textile Fun” to life—an activity designed to introduce students to sustainable materials and the environmental impact of the fashion industry.

Using natural dyes from plants, fruits, and flowers, students explored how eco-textiles can reduce reliance on harmful chemicals while reimagining how everyday products are made. This work is part of a broader effort to develop climate and sustainability curricula for PK–12 classrooms—empowering the next generation of problem-solvers to think critically and create responsibly.
