Notes: This original poster is an iconic WWII British propaganda poster designed by the acclaimed artist Frank Newbould. The modernist design features a massive pair of black industrial pliers squeezing N**i imagery against a stark background. The phrase "Tighten your grip" was inspired by a famous worldwide BBC radio broadcast delivered by Prime Minister Winston Churchill on February 9, 1941. Today, the original prints are highly valued by historians and collectors alike, with original versions preserved in prestigious institutions such as the MoMA and the Smithsonian Institution.
