Let's talk about Check Engine Lights!

Many people don't know this but there are several hundred reasons why a check engine light, or service engine soon light may come on.

Modern vehicles have several modules that monitor things like Fuel trims, misfires, transmission operation, brake system, evap system, exhaust components, and even HVAC and things like window switches.

When a check engine light comes on, it can be a minor issue or something more major. We always recommend at the very least having codes pulled, and more importantly, diagnosed.
There are also several codes that may not even set a check engine light.

If your check engine light is blinking, that is an indication of a more serious problem and it requires immediate attention.
